CZL Mascot
Mu
CZL's mascot, a pixel border collie
Mu lives inside several CZL products. Send a request, hit search or start an upload, and Mu perks up, runs off to do the work, then lies down with a grin when it's done.
Why a border collie
Hand it a job, it sees it through
Smart and self-driven
Border collies are widely seen as the smartest dog breed. The shepherd only gives direction; the collie works out how to bring the flock in. That is how CZL builds products too: you say what you want, the rest is handled.
The flock is the work
Herding is what sets a border collie apart from other dogs. For Mu, each sheep is a job to be done: when there are many, Mu keeps an eye on the flock and brings each one home.
Named after 牧
Mu is the pronunciation of 牧, the Chinese character for herding. It is written Mu in both Chinese and English, short and easy to call.
What it's doing
You can tell at a glance
Every move Mu makes means something. One look tells you where things stand.

The same sky blue
Mu's body uses the sky blue of the CZL logo.
The same speed lines
The bars trailing behind Mu when it runs echo the slanted lines of the logo: moving forward fast and steady.
