Each translation consumes ⌈source-chars ÷ 1000⌉ counts. So up to 1000 chars = 1 count, 1001-2000 = 2, etc. Resets at 0:00 Beijing time (UTC+8). Standalone quota packs (from CDK) are consumed first; daily quota is only used when packs are empty.

Plenty for occasional word lookups and short sentences. If you read English articles or batch-translate emails daily, upgrade to Pro (500/day) or Max (5000/day). Quota counts characters — 500 ≈ 500K characters per day.

Pro/Max users can create a team and share their daily quota with members (up to 10 incl. owner). Members consume the owner's quota first when they translate. Owner generates a one-time invite link in "My Team"; clicking the link auto-launches the desktop app and joins the team. Owner can kick members, disband the team, or transfer ownership.

Yes. Each link can be used by exactly one user, then expires immediately. Click "Regenerate Invite Link" to invite more people. This prevents leaked links from being abused.

Settings → Shortcuts. Three configurable hotkeys: ① selection translate (popup), ② translation window (manual input), ③ inline replace (replaces text in current input box). Each has a Reset and Disable button. Disabled means the hotkey no longer triggers anything. Conflicts with system shortcuts are flagged in red.

Windows 10+ and macOS 12+. macOS supports Apple Silicon only (M1 / M2 / M3 / M4) — Intel x86_64 is not provided.

Yes. One account supports up to 3 simultaneous devices. To prevent account abuse, you can remotely disable an old device from "My Devices" in your account panel. Disabled devices can't translate; logging in again re-enables them.

Stripe Card auto-renews and charges automatically before expiry. Alipay is one-time — you renew manually each year. Both support upgrade (Pro→Max diff checkout) and refund (48h). Pick Alipay if you don't want auto-charge; pick Card if you want zero hassle.

The server has multiple AI models with priority-based fallback. If primary is rate-limited or having issues, traffic switches to backup automatically — invisible to you. You can change the default model in Settings → Translation.

History is stored only in a local SQLite database (last 500). We only log character counts on the server (for quota), never the source or translated text.

Settings → Subscription → Request Refund. Conditions: within 48h of payment, no prior refund this cycle, lifetime cap not reached. The plan downgrades to Lite immediately. Settlement: 5-10 business days for cards, 24-48 hours for Alipay.

Plan auto-downgrades to Lite (50/day). Local history, TTS cache, settings are all preserved. Renewing instantly restores Pro/Max.

Yes. "Inline replace" is designed exactly for these: type in your native language, press hotkey (default Ctrl+Alt+Q), and TransAI replaces it with English in place. Some sandboxed webmail clients may not support inline replace — those fall back to popup translation.
